How would you react when you lost someone who's close to you?
More importantly,how would you feel if you are left with a mission by that person?
Mission that you haven't accomplish.Mission that will put their soul in more peace.

I got a call at 3 am.I thought that it was him,inviting me to watch the match between ... ermm ... i don't remember.Ergh...The last thing i would care about that day was to know who won the World Cup.
Anyway,the call was from his number,but it just wasn't him.It was his father.My heart flutter wilder after every sentence.When he finally tells me the news,i thought that i was dreaming.But...
"Is it time for the match?"
"No...Yes...Umm...I don't know".
I shook my head several times.
"Lukman...What is it?"
"Umm...I got a call from Samir's dad."
"And...?"
Long pause.
"Samir got an accident,and...he passed away half an hour ago."
She turns her head 45 degree towards me.
"Inna Lillah...".And she holds my hand.That was when i'm sure that this is reality.

I can't take another step.Just by looking at his door,scares me.
"Assalamualaikum".A voice came from behind.
"Waalaikumussalam".Hidni reply for me.
"Have you enter..."
"No,we just arrive".
"Oh.Ermm...Can we go together?I'm a little..."
"Sure.And don't worry,k.Everything's gonna be fine".
So,they walk pass me.At that time,i remembered something.There is something that i have to tell that girl.

Alhamdulillah.He was safely buried after Zuhur prayer.I can't believe that i cried so much,and in front of people too.But the moment i saw his face,i just could not stop.It really felt like there's something missing in me.But,whenever i think of him,i see Aliyah.I have to tell that girl today.

After the funeral,Hidni invited Aliyah for lunch at our house.While waiting for the foods to cook,we chat at the living room.
"Aliyah,i have something to tell you".
"Yes?"
"Umm...It's about Samir".
She did not reply anything.
"Erm...He told me something last month.He said that...he's fallen in love".
We all froze for awhile,but then i saw a smile on her face.
"Yeah.I notices that".
She's still smiling.But my face grew paler.
"Recently,he seemed as he was glowing".
"So,that means you knew he fell in love with you?"
"Huh? ... Wait! ... What? ... No! ... What?"
That's all she could say,and it's her turn to look pale.
"Erm...Please,Lukman.It's not right to talk about him.Let alone joking.He's just passed away for God sake".
She became furious suddenly.
I  took out something from my pocket and pass it to her.
"Err...What is it?"
"Just take it.Samir's parents gave me this morning,and asked me to pass it to you.It's something special,just for you".
She hesitated for a while but she took it in the end.
"Open it".Hidni said with a smile.
Again,she seemed hesitated.She opens the tiny box slowly,then she paused for a minute.When she look back at me,i could see her face is full of questions.
"Did you like it?" Hidni asks.
Her face turns paler when she looks at Hidni.
"Ermm...What is this ring for?"
My heart turns sorrow to think back the past.I took a deep breath.
"I'm not kidding,Aliyah.Let alone i'm joking around with you about my best friend who just passed away.I'm serious".
And her expression?Well,it could not be described.Her mouth opened a little,shows that she's shocked but her eyes are expressionless.Whatever her expression was,i hope it was something that won't make Samir's love pointless.
The rest of the afternoon fills the air with silence.She did not say anything,i lost for words and Hidni understood that we need some time to think.

"Thanks for the lunch".Then she took out the tiny box and gave it to me.
"Why are you giving it back?" Oh no!Did she not loves him back?Samir,i'm sor..
"I can't accept this.It must have cost them a fortune.I don't deserve this".
"Of course you do.It was meant for you,right?"Hidni place back the box into Aliyah's hand.
"But..."
"She's right.They must have gave it to you for a reason.Keep it.And i know Allah yarham wants you to have it too".I gave  her a smile.
She smiles back,but with a tear drops from her left eye.And at that time,i knew i have accomplish my mission.

Ramadhan Resolution

I want this year's Ramadhan to be meaningful,unlike the way I celebrate them the past years.
Insya Allah,this year will be my blessful Ramadhan yet. :)
My to-do list:

1.Recite al-Quran at least 1 juzud a day @ khatam al-Quran in one month
2.Perform Terawih prayer every night
3.Gives sedekah
4.Perform as many deeds as possible on Lailatul Qadar
5.Spend as much time as possible at the mosque (or surau)
6.Apologizes to everyone (not included family and relatives)
7."Solat sunat sujud syukur dan solat sunat hajat pada hari lahir"
8.Share my foods with friends
9.Avoid hear,say,see and do bad things
10.Memorizes surah one by one

Well,that's so far what I have thought.hehe.Have a good Ramadhan ya'll ^^

Aliyah ring the door bell,then the gigantic gate opened automatically.The house is hectic with tens of teenagers and the loud music.She walks towards the only guy in white shirt.Her heart beats faster,and faster.When she reached to that person,all eyes are on her.

"Umm...Hi.Happy Birthday".She said slowly and her hand is shaking while giving him her gift.

"Hey.Thanks for coming".Lukman took the gift from her hands.

Aliyah looks around.Looking for someone else.

"Everyone else is in the living room.Go take a look.And don't be shy to eat,ya?"

 Aliyah smile and nodded,then she left.As soon as she enters the living room,all her fears went away.She became excited to see Jasmin,her best friend whom she haven't seen in 3 months.So,she quickly walk towards her.Suddenly,an accident happened.Aliyah slips,which make her automatically grabs onto someone's collar.Unfortunately,that person is drinking an orange juice so,the juice spills on both of them.Aliyah could not think straight.She's shocked,embarrassed,cold and...surprised!

Samir?She's lost for words.She doesn't know what to say,let alone what to do.They're both soaking wet.

"Ya Allah!What happened to you guys?" Lukman dashed to the scene.

Everyone is quiet.

"Umm...Never mind.The kitchen's in there.I think you guys should wash up first".

Samir stands up and lend his hand to Aliyah.But Aliyah just stand up on her own,pretends like she didn't notice it.

The house became hectic again.Everyone is having the time of their lives.Except for Aliyah and Samir.They're alone in the kitchen,silence fill the air.

"Umm...Samir?"

"Hmm?" Samir seemed not interested.

"Sorry".

"Uh-huh".

"I umm...don't..."

"Nah...Just forget about it,k?So...How have you been?I mean,what have you been doing the past 12 years?"

Silence,again.

Seriously?Aliyah thought.I felt guity here and he just changed topic?

"Aliyah?" Samir snaps his finger a couple of times when he realized that she just froze there.

"Oh!Sorry.Hehe.Umm...Not much.Just studying i guess.It's not like i got married or anything.Hihi".

Samir just smiles.He knows that Aliyah is a shy girl.

"So...Where are you gonna pursue your study after this?Umm...what course are you gonna take?"

"Insyaallah,I'll be studying in Singapore next month,taking Diploma In Law & Management."

Samir could not believe what he just heard.His face turns pale and he looks straight at Aliyah.

"Wait!What?Are you serious?You're really going?"

"Yeah.I know law is not that interes..."

"No!That's not what i mean!" Aliyah could not finishes her words when Samir interrupted.

Aliyah stares at Samir,strangely.What are you trying to say,Samir?
"NUS is it?" Samir confirms.
"Yeah.Umm...How did you know?"
Silence again.

"I'm sorry.I don't mean to...umm...Don't get me wrong.It just that....I took the same offer."

Aliyah's heart fluttered wildly.So,what he's trying to say is...We'll be studying together?For 3 years?Me...and Samir?
